KAILALI: Fourteen people, including the driver, a teacher, and several young students, were injured when a school auto-rickshaw overturned on the East-West Highway in Motipur, Godawari Municipality-2 on Tuesday morning.

The vehicle, belonging to Malika Montessori Boarding School, was heading east from the west when the driver lost control, causing the auto-rickshaw to flip over at around 10:15 am.

Among the injured are the 59-year-old driver, Jagat Bishta, a resident of Lamkichuha Municipality-1, a 30-year-old teacher named Tula Gharti, and 12 Montessori students.

All the injured have been rushed to Lalratna Hospital in Lamki for medical treatment. Authorities stated that further investigation into the accident is underway.
