KATHMANDU: Addressing the Rastriya Swatantra Party’s first general convention closed session in Bharatpur, Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane acknowledged internal friction but strictly ordered members not to take disputes to the streets or engage in factionalism.
Expressing concern over emerging cliques, he warned that traditional political maneuvering would fail the public’s trust and urged representatives to vote conscientiously rather than following outside dictates.
Claiming absolute neutrality in the upcoming internal elections, Lamichhane emphasized that anyone orchestrating vote banks does not represent the spirit of the RSP, concluding that whoever wins will ultimately guide the party forward.
