CHITWAN: The closed session of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) general convention commenced in Chitwan on Tuesday, a day later than originally scheduled.

The session, which was further delayed by an hour and a half on Tuesday afternoon, finally began at 3:30 PM following the arrival of Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane.

The delays were primarily caused by disputes surrounding the selection of convention representatives.

However, proceedings moved forward after party leaders entrusted Chairman Lamichhane with the sole responsibility of resolving the issue.
