BHAKTAPUR: A 28-year-old youth was stabbed to death in Bhaktapur on Monday night. The deceased has been identified as Akash Rasaili, originally from Mithila Municipality-9 in Mahottari district, who had been residing at Nagarkotmode in Bhaktapur Municipality-1.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Prakash Jabegu, spokesperson for the District Police Range Bhaktapur, Rasaili was critically injured in a stabbing incident that occurred around 10:00 PM on Monday. He succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday morning while undergoing treatment at Kathmandu Medical College in Duwakot.

Police have arrested three individuals in connection with the murder. The arrestees are 31-year-old Ayush Karki of Triyuga Municipality-13, Udayapur; 27-year-old Dorje Sherpa of Damak Municipality-3, Jhapa; and 35-year-old Ramesh Kunwar of Rurukshetra Rural Municipality, Gulmi. All three suspects had been living in Sallaghari, Bhaktapur.
