KATHMANDU: UML Vice-Chairman and former Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel is set to be produced before the Special Court today as legal proceedings advance following his arrest.
Paudel was arrested in Surkhet on Monday and flown to Kathmandu, where he was brought to the Department of Money Laundering Investigation for questioning. Officials conducted around two hours of interrogation earlier today as part of the initial investigation process.
After completing preliminary procedures, authorities are preparing to present the senior UML leader before the Special Court for further judicial action. Further developments are expected as the case progresses.
