KATHMANDU: Three Nepali city leaders participated in the MuniExpo Conference 2026 in Israel from June 21 to 25 at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, according to the Embassy of Israel in Nepal.
The Nepali participants were Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhan Raj Acharya, Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City Mayor Manoj Kumar Sharma, and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Acting Mayor Sunita Dangol. They joined 30 mayors from around the world at the conference.
As part of the visit, the delegation toured the Magen David Adom Campus in Ramla and a Magen David Adom station in Jerusalem, where they observed Israel’s emergency medical response system, the embassy said.
