KAPILVASTU: Twenty-two people were injured when a Kathmandu-bound passenger bus lost control, hit a divider, and overturned on the Postal Highway section in Kapilvastu.

The injured passengers, including the driver, sustained various injuries and were rushed to Universal Medical College in Bhairahawa for further treatment after initial care at Taulihawa District Hospital.

The remaining 24 passengers on board were safely redirected to their destinations via another vehicle, and authorities have cleared the road for traffic.
