UAE grants general amnesty to 111 Nepali prisoners on Eid al-Adha

KATHMANDU: The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Nepal, Abdulla Saeed Mubarak Jarwan Al Shamsi, paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Youth, Labour, and Employment, Ramjee Yadav, today at the Ministry in Singha Durbar.

During the meeting, Minister Yadav urged the effective implementation of bilateral labor agreements between the two nations, emphasizing the welfare and rights of Nepali migrant workers.

On the occasion, Ambassador Al Shamsi shared that the UAE government has granted an official pardon to 111 Nepali prisoners in celebration of Eid al-Adha.

Minister Yadav expressed his profound gratitude to the UAE government for this compassionate gesture and welcomed the ongoing diplomatic cooperation between the two countries.
