KATHMANDU: Popular comedian Prabhat Lama has been signed for the lead role in the upcoming comedy film Tin Tighre Kya Bigre, marking his debut as a lead actor.

Produced under the Raghuji Films banner, the movie is written and directed by Amardip Sapkota, with filming set to begin this week. Raghunath Sapkota is producing the film.

The cast also includes singer Pashupati Sharma, Paritoshika Panta, daughter of singer Anju Panta, and actor Samiya Karki, all of whom had previously been signed for lead roles. Cinematography will be handled by Sankal Bhujel.

Director Sapkota said the film is being made as a full-fledged comedy and aims to offer audiences laughter, entertainment, and a fresh cinematic experience.
