KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices increased in the Nepali market on Friday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold surged by Rs 2,700 per tola (11.66 grams) today and is currently being traded at Rs 287,400.

On Thursday, the precious metal was traded at Rs 284,700 per tola.

Similarly, silver prices also moved upward on Friday. The price of silver rose by Rs 170 per tola to settle at Rs 4,510, compared to Rs 4,340 per tola on Thursday.
