SARLAHI: The pedestrian “Justice March” against predatory loan sharking, which commenced from Janakpur on July 9, entered its fourth day today as marchers advanced further from Lalbandi.

Organizers have stated that this journey, undertaken by victims and entrepreneurs to awaken the state and establish their fundamental rights, will not stop until it reaches Kathmandu.

Participating in the pursuit of justice, hundreds of marchers carried placards with slogans such as “Quietly Tear Up the Fraudulent Loan Deeds” and “No One Should Have to Travel to Kathmandu Just to Demand Their Rights.”

The participants are covering approximately 20 to 26 kilometers each day as they head toward the capital.

According to the organizers, although the government has signed agreements on four separate occasions, it has consistently failed to implement its commitments. This lack of action has compelled them to return to the capital to pressure authorities once again.

The marchers are expected to reach Kathmandu in about a week.
