KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the domestic market has increased by Rs 600 per tola (11.66 grams) on Sunday, settling at Rs 288,000, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association.

On Friday, the precious yellow metal had traded at Rs 287,400 per tola.

Conversely, the price of silver has witnessed a decline.

On Sunday, silver dropped by Rs 35 per tola to be fixed at Rs 4,475. It had previously closed at Rs 4,510 per tola on Friday.
