KATHMANDU: After attempting to hold a press conference inside Tribhuvan International Airport itself, medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai was taken into custody by the police and escorted home.

Returning to Kathmandu from Jhapa, Prasai attempted to organize an event in the airport area, which was stopped by a team from the District Police Range, Kathmandu.

According to Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, SP and spokesperson for the District Police Range, Kathmandu, Prasai was about to hold a program right at the airport.

As he attempted to hold an event inside a restricted/prohibited zone, the police took him into custody and dropped him off at his residence in Bhaktapur.
