Foreign minister, Japanese ambassador discuss JICA president’s upcoming visit

KATHMANDU: Minister of Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal and Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Maeda Toru held talks on Thursday, today, on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding development cooperation.

During the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two discussed a range of issues of mutual interest, including the upcoming visit of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) President to Nepal.

They also exchanged views on enhancing development cooperation in the sectors of education, energy, and hydropower, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
