KATHMANDU: A police team on regular patrol has arrested 25 individuals from various parts of the country with illegal drugs.

According to the Central Police News Desk, the arrests include six individuals each from Sunsari and Kailali, three each from Jhapa and Morang, two each from Nuwakot, Surkhet, and Syangja, and one from Siraha.

Police recovered illicit substances from their possession, including brown sugar (heroin) as well as prescription-only drugs such as Buprenorphine and Diazepam.
