KATHMANDU: The District Administration Office (DAO), Kathmandu, has issued a travel alert urging passengers entering or leaving the Kathmandu Valley to exercise high caution due to monsoon-induced risks of floods and landslides.

Commuters are advised to check weather and road conditions before traveling, remain highly vigilant during night journeys, and halt in safe areas during blockages.

The DAO emphasized that public and private vehicles should only resume journeys after receiving official clearance from the police.
