LALITPUR: The Patan High Court resolved 11,468 cases in the last fiscal year 2025/26.
Out of a total docket of 16,139 cases at the court, 11,468 cases were resolved.
The judiciary successfully brought the number of cases older than two years and older than 18 months down to zero. Meanwhile, there are 353 cases older than one year.
Chief Judge Lal Bahadur Kunwar claimed that according to the judiciary’s fifth five-year strategic plan, they succeeded in bringing cases older than 18 months down to zero.
“We have given special priority to development, construction, and revenue collection cases,” he said.
The Patan High Court stated that it has resolved 740 cases in the current fiscal year, with 12 detention cases older than one year remaining.
Among its subordinate districts, Sindhupalchok resolved 77.4 percent of cases, Rasuwa resolved 75.6 percent, and Kathmandu District Court resolved the lowest at 42.3 percent.
