KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra (Balen) Shah is set to hold a discussion with officials from the Garment Association Nepal (GAN) today at 11:30 AM.

The meeting, taking place at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, will be attended by GAN President Pashupati Dev Pandey, First Vice-President Basanta Raj Adhikari, General Secretary Bhim Kumari Giri, Chief Executive Officer Suyash Khanal, and Technical Advisor Prakash Kumar Jha.

The discussion will focus on the current state of the ready-made garment industry, the challenges facing the sector, the promotion of production and exports, job creation, and the overall development of the industry.

In recent days, Prime Minister Shah has been in continuous dialogue with the private sector, industrialists, business leaders, and key stakeholders to hear their grievances, gather recommendations for policy reform, and issue necessary directives to relevant authorities for execution.
