KATHMANDU: Nepal will be without fast bowler Nandan Yadav when it takes on Namibia in a crucial ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 match on Monday after he was ruled out of the remaining League 2 fixtures with a hamstring injury.
According to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), Yadav’s injury has sidelined him for the rest of the tournament, dealing a significant blow to Nepal’s campaign.
The match will be played at Sportpark Maarschalkerweerd in Utrecht, the Netherlands, and is scheduled to begin at 2:45 PM Nepali time.
Both teams enter the contest in search of crucial League 2 points. Nepal is looking to end a two-match losing streak, while Namibia is aiming to bounce back from an unexpected defeat in its previous match.
