KATHMANDU: The Pokhara Avengers have signed Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib Al Hasan to their squad for the third season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Considered one of the all-time great all-rounders in world cricket, Shakib has a long-standing track record of exceptional performances in international cricket.

The 40-year-old Shakib Al Hasan is an experienced player who has represented over 30 franchise teams worldwide. The former Bangladesh captain has scored 2,551 runs and taken 149 wickets in 129 T20 Internationals. Furthermore, across all forms of T20 cricket, he has played 478 matches, scoring 7,853 runs and claiming 515 wickets to his name.
