An earthquake has struck the district of Dolakha earlier today.

The epicenter was reported below Shyama, Dolakha. According to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center, a magnitude 4.2 earthquake centered at Shyama was recorded at 4:16 pm today. The epicenter was reported below the Gorkha plateau, however, no damages have been reported so far.

After the catastrophic earthquake on April 25, 2015, more than 560 aftershocks above 4 magnitudes have occurred in Nepal so far.
