A person has died in a motorcycle accident near Chandni Chowk on the Jaleshwor-Janakpur road in Mahottari today.
The deceased has been identified as Upendra Mahaseth, 45, of Kurtha in Janakpur Sub-Metropolis-21, said Prakash Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Mahottari.
He died on the way to Jaleshwor from Janakpur on a motorcycle (P-2-02-003 Pa 7875). Upendra, who was critically injured in the accident, died at the Janakpur-based provincial hospital while undergoing treatment, according to police.
A young man has died in a motorcycle accident at Jamuniya village in Bhangha Municipality-6 of Mahottari district last night. The deceased has been identified as Mubarak Ansari, 28, a local, said Prakash Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Mahottari.
Mubarak, who was riding a motorcycle (Na 17 Pa 7082) driven by his friend Dipesh Chaudhary, died at 10:30 last night after being taken to Janaki Health Care Hospital in Janakpur for treatment. Motorcyclist Dipesh Chaudhary has escaped the scene of the accident while police are searching for him.
One person has died in a motorcycle accident in Love Dada, Kamal Rural Municipality-5, Jhapa in the East-West highway. The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Dilliram Shahi from Kamal-5.
The accident took place on Thursday afternoon, the motorcycle rider Shahi has died today morning while undergoing treatment following the accident, informed Area Police office Damak.
According to the police, the motorcycle with registration number “Pra 1-02-041 Pa 2000” went out of control and met an accident. Shahi sustained an injury on the head and died while undergoing treatment. Rupam Tamang of Itahari-20, the passenger in the bike is undergoing treatment informed the police.
