A total of 210 candidates have registered for various posts in four villages of Manang on Sunday and Monday. According to Chief Electoral Officer Punaram Khanal, 73 candidates have registered in Ngisyang, 42 in Chame, 68 in Naso and 27 in Narpabhumi.

 Similarly, nine candidates have filed nominations for the post of mayor and eight candidates for the post of deputy mayor in four villages. According to the Election Office, Manang, 48 candidates have been nominated for the post of ward chairperson, 41 for women ward members, 22 for Dalit members and 82 for open members.
