Today’s second meeting of the House of Representatives has unanimously approved the ‘Drugs (Third Amendment) Bill, 2022’. In the first meeting, Minister for Health and Population Bhavani Prasad Khapung had submitted a proposal to consider the Medicine (Third Amendment) Bill, 2022 AD.
A similar meeting has also unanimously approved the ‘Health Workers and Health Institutions Security (First Amendment) Bill, 2022’. Health Minister Khapung himself had submitted a proposal to consider the Health Workers and Health Institutions Security (First Amendment) Bill, 2022 AD. Health Minister Khapung has also answered the questions raised during the meeting.
The House of Representatives has endorsed two bills. A meeting of the lower house of the Federal Parliament today approved the Bill Related to Amending Some Acts against Sexual Violence, 2022 and the Bill on Amending Some Acts Related to Criminal Offence and Procedures, 2022.
The lower house approved the two bills unanimously and sent them to the related committee for clause-wise discussions.
The HoR meeting approved the proposal presented by Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Govinda Prasad Sharma that it endorse the bills and forward them to the committee for clause-wise discussions. The committee concerned will now hold clause-wise discussions on the two bills.
