Former IGP Sarbendra Khanal, who joined UML recently, has registered his candidature in the House of Representatives of Kathmandu-6. He reached the office of the Chief Electoral Officer on Sunday and registered his candidacy.

Khanal will compete with Congress candidate Bhimsendas Pradhan. Pradhan also won the previous election in that constituency.
