Four shortlisted for SEBON chairperson

KATHMANDU: Four candidates have been shortlisted for the post of chairperson of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON).

The recommendation committee formed to select the new chairperson published the names after reviewing applications from 47 candidates.

The shortlisted candidates are Naba Raj Adhikari, Binaydev Acharya, Mukunda Kumar Kshetri and Dr. Gopal Prasad Bhatta.

The committee has invited all four candidates for discussions on Friday.

The selection committee was formed after former chairperson Santosh Narayan Shrestha resigned from the post.

The committee had called for applications for the vacant position on April 28.

Following Friday’s discussions, the committee will recommend one candidate to the Cabinet for appointment as chairperson.
