KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra (Balen) Shah is scheduled to hold a discussion today with representatives associated with Nepal’s major export-oriented industries and businesses.
The meeting, set to take place at 11:30 AM at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, will feature the participation of Hom Prasad Ghimire (President of the Nepal Plywood Manufacturers Association), Bal Ram Gurung (President of the Nepal Carpet Manufacturer and Exporter Association), Dhan Prasad Lamichhane (President of the Nepal Pashmina Industries Association), Dewananda Sarawagi (Carpet and Plywood Exporter), and Resham Bahadur Pokharel (President of the Nepal Dog Chew Manufacturers Association).
During the session, Prime Minister Shah will consult with the leaders on export promotion challenges, policy reforms, and potential solutions.
For some time now, Prime Minister Shah has been engaging in continuous dialogue with private-sector industrialists, entrepreneurs, and relevant stakeholders to boost the country’s economy.
