KATHMANDU: The price of gold has experienced a massive surge in the Nepali market today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold skyrocketed by Rs 20,500 per tola (11.66 grams), bringing the trading price to Rs 311,100.
Prior to this, on Friday, the precious metal had traded at Rs 290,600 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver has also witnessed an increase today. The Federation reported that silver prices went up by Rs 305 per tola, with the metal currently trading at Rs 5,345.
