Nepal Embassy in US hosts trade and investment interaction with American officials

WASHINGTON: The Embassy of Nepal in the United States organized an “Interaction Program for Commercial Mutual Prosperity between Nepal and the United States” aimed at strengthening bilateral trade and investment cooperation.

The event brought together U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary Bethany Morrison, officials from the United States Department of State and United States Department of Commerce, along with the Nepali delegation participating in the SelectUSA Investment Summit 2026.

Representatives from the American Chamber of Commerce in Nepal (AmCham) also attended the program, which focused on expanding commercial partnerships, attracting investment, and enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries.

According to the Embassy, the discussion highlighted opportunities for deeper engagement in trade, investment promotion, and private sector collaboration between Nepal and the United States.
