KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index, which measures share trading in the securities market, declined today, dropping by 8.30 points to close at 2,653.40 points, according to the Nepal Stock Exchange.
Similarly, the Sensitive Index, which measures the performance of large companies, fell by 2.65 points to stand at 459.81 points.
During the trading session, a total of 8,584,401 shares of 345 companies were exchanged, amounting to a total turnover of Rs 4,411,234,537. In terms of transaction volume, Agricultural Development Bank’s Agriculture Bond, KBL Debenture, NRN Infrastructure, Best Finance, and Central Finance led the market.
Meanwhile, investors of Sanigadh Hydro, Snow River Limited, Kalanga Hydro, Nepal Finance, and Khanikhola Hydro emerged as the top gainers, while those invested in Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower, Dhaulagiri Laghubitta, Crest Micro Life Insurance, Samudayik Laghubitta, and Universal Power faced the biggest losses.
