KATHMANDU: On the second trading day of the week today (Tuesday), the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has increased by double digits. NEPSE, which remained volatile throughout the day, finally closed with a rise of 24.57 points. The trading volume of NEPSE also increased compared to the previous day.
NEPSE had decreased by 26.29 points on Monday. Increasing by 0.93 percent today compared to the previous trading day, NEPSE stopped at 2651.68 points.
On today’s day, the Sensitive Index also increased by 4.33 points and stopped at 460.61 points. In terms of percentage, this is 0.95 percent higher compared to the previous trading day. Similarly, the float index increased by 0.96 percent and the sensitive float index increased by 1.02 percent.
In the stock market on Tuesday, at least 9,519,452 shares were bought and sold in 72,022 transactions of 352 companies. According to this, a transaction of Rs 4.40 billion took place on Tuesday. On Monday, however, a transaction of Rs 3.557 billion had taken place.

The share prices of 210 companies increased today in the stock market. While the share prices of 57 companies went down, the share prices of 10 companies remained stable. Out of the 13 groups traded today (Tuesday) in NEPSE, the indices of all groups witnessed greenery.
According to this, the sub-indices of Commercial Bank increased by 1.52 percent, Development Bank by 1.13 percent, Finance by 0.57 percent, Hotel and Tourism by 0.54 percent, Hydropower by 0.99 percent, Investment by 0.38 percent, and Life Insurance group by 0.69 percent in NEPSE on Tuesday. Similarly, Manufacturing and Processing increased by 0.40 percent, Microfinance by 0.25 percent, Mutual Fund by 0.30 percent, Non-Life Insurance by 0.72 percent, Others by 0.77 percent, and Trading group by 1.89 percent.
On Tuesday, the investors of Kalanga Hydro earned 14.99 percent in NEPSE. The investors of Atmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha lost 13.78 percent of their share price.
In terms of transaction amount, KBL Debenture remained in the leadership position today. On Tuesday, its transaction of Rs 207.5 million took place.
Similarly, on the basis of the number of traded shares, Global IME Bank remained ahead today. On Tuesday, at least 689,108 shares of this bank were traded. Its final trading price today was maintained at Rs 248 per share.
