KATHMANDU: Students preparing for the Public Service Commission exams have staged a demonstration at Maitighar.

The protesters are demanding the repeal of Point No. 11 of the decision made during the Chief Secretary-level meeting on July 20.

This controversial point stipulates that approval must be obtained from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers prior to fulfilling any position or hiring under the Public Service Commission.
