MORANG: A female detainee who escaped police custody during the recent Zen Z protest has been re-arrested in Morang district.

According to police, the detainee had fled during the unrest caused by the demonstration. Following a search operation, law enforcement officers tracked her down and brought her back into custody.

District Police Office Morang said further details regarding her identity and the original charges will be made public through official records.
