SINDHULI: Nepal Police have arrested 51-year-old Dhan Bahadur Bogati, a fugitive accused of raping a 7-year-old minor, who was the subject of an Interpol Red Corner Notice, according to Nepal Police.

Bogati, a resident of Kamalamai Municipality-9 in Sindhuli district, had been on the run following the incident, leading to the issuance of an Interpol Red Notice against him on December 21, 2025. Acting on specific information, a police team apprehended him at Maisthan in Kamalamai Municipality-08, Sindhuli.

The authorities, maintaining a strict zero-tolerance policy against all forms of sexual crimes against children, have confirmed that further legal procedures and investigations into the case are currently underway.
