LALITPUR: Police have arrested a 25-year-old man, Asaraf Ali resident of Simraungadh Municipality-7, Bara, with 150 grams of brown sugar from Lalitpur Metropolitan City-15 on Tuesday.

According to Police Superintendent Durga Raj Regmi, spokesperson for the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Koteshwor, Ali was apprehended by a bureau team during a targeted operation.

Police said they also recovered two digital weighing scales and four speaker units, which were allegedly used to conceal and transport the narcotic substance.

Ali has been taken into custody, and further investigation into the narcotics case is underway, police added.
