At least 11 ARISE Project students pass SEE with UN Women, Finland support

KATHMANDU: Eleven students supported by CAC Nepal through the ARISE Project have passed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) and were felicitated at a ceremony attended by Budhanilkantha Municipality Mayor Mitharam Adhikari and representatives of the Embassy of Finland in Nepal.

According to the embassy, the ARISE Project is implemented by CAC Nepal with support from UN Women Nepal and funding from the government of Finland.

The initiative promotes the economic empowerment of women and LGBTQ+ individuals by expanding access to education and sustainable livelihood opportunities. The ceremony recognized the students’ successful completion of secondary education under the project.
