Nepal hosted its first chess tournament for children with visual impairments, organized by Pavilions Chess Academy. More than 50 children participated in the inclusive event, opening avenues for broader sporting and social engagement.
Meanwhile, the carpet-weaving income-generation program in Sarlahi, supported by Hoste Hainse, enabled marginalized women to combine skill training with entrepreneurship, providing marketable skills, steady income, and enhanced social standing in their communities.
