GENEVA: Health and Food Safety Minister Nisha Mehta held talks with World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on the sidelines of the ongoing 79th World Health Assembly in Geneva to discuss cooperation in Nepal’s health sector.

During the meeting, the two discussed WHO’s support for Nepal’s health sector and reviewed ongoing collaboration between Nepal and the global health body.

The discussions also focused on continuing and strengthening future cooperation in public health and other key health-related areas.
