KATHMANDU: Swiss Ambassador to Nepal Danielle Meuwly attended the panel discussion “Alpine Alliances: New Wave of Nepali Cinema” during the twenty-third Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF) yesterday.

The discussion featured filmmaker Abinash Bikram Shah, director Min Bahadur Bham, and producer Ram Krishna Pokharel, who discussed international collaboration in cinema through partnerships and festivals, including the Locarno Film Festival.

The panel focused on opportunities for emerging Nepali filmmakers in networking, co-production, financing, and global film distribution.
