KATHMANDU: The Madan Puraskar Guthi has officially announced the shortlist of 10 books nominated for the ‘Madan Puraskar’.
One of these final selections will be awarded Nepal’s highest literary honor for the year.
Out of 298 submissions received by the Guthi, the selected titles include Keshab Raj Gyawali’s Agyat, Keshab Dahal’s Itha, Lalit Bista’s Utkarsha, Roshan Kumar Jha’s Nepalmandal Sanga Jodieko Simraungadhko Itihas, Beena Joshi’s (Rajbhandari) Newar Samudayaka Paramparagat Mukundonach, Uma Subedi’s Paridhi, Seema Avash’s Mahayug, Shrawan Mukarung’s Salaha, Dr. Nabaraj KC’s Swasparsha and Nadish’s Hiund.
The prestigious annual award recognizes an outstanding literary work published in the Nepali language.
