CHITWAN: Amidst escalating landslide risks triggered by continuous rainfall, the local administration has announced a complete halt to vehicular movement on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section and the Chitwan stretch of the Prithvi Highway, effective from 10:00 PM tonight.
Chief District Officer Ganesh Aryal issued a notice stating that the decision to close the crucial Narayangadh-Muglin-Kathmandu corridor during the night was made to mitigate potential hazards to passengers and drivers, following similar safety closures enforced on Saturday night.
Authorities have requested travelers requiring emergency nighttime transit to closely coordinate with local administration and security agencies before attempting to travel through these vulnerable zones.
