KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration has issued a directive ordering civil service trade unions and organizations to vacate all buildings and structures built and utilized on government land within three days.
According to the ministry, following the government’s decision to scrap provisions regarding civil service trade unions, the legal basis has ended for buildings and other structures constructed on government-owned land by several organizations that previously operated as national-level trade unions.
