KATHMANDU: Continuous rainfall, landslides, and road repairs have severely disrupted traffic across several districts in Nepal, leaving key highways either completely blocked, restricted to one-way traffic, or closed off entirely.

According to official updates, the Bheri Corridor connecting Jajarkot and Dolpa is completely blocked due to torrential rains at Rimjikhola in Rukum Paschim.

Meanwhile, several crucial routes—including the Mid-Hill Highway in Bhojpur and Terhathum, the Mechi Highway in Ilam, the BP Highway in Kavre, and the Siddhartha Highway in Palpa—have been reduced to one-way traffic.

Additionally, authorities have halted vehicular movement on the Bhakundebesi–Nepalthok–Dhulikhel road due to imminent flood risks, while commuters heading to Kathmandu via the Kulekhani–Phakhel route are urged to use alternative roads due to ongoing maintenance.
