KATHMANDU: Chief Justice Manoj Kumar Sharma announced his commitment to strengthening the judiciary by building on the successful practices of his predecessors.

Speaking at a congratulatory event organized by the Supreme Court Bar Association on Wednesday, Sharma emphasized that court-based dispute resolution should be a last resort rather than a first choice, urging the Bar to play an active role in effective dispute management.

He reaffirmed his dedication to the supremacy of the constitution, the rule of law, judicial independence, impartiality, and institutional governance.

Chief Justice Sharma noted that public trust can be earned by making justice administration swift, affordable, impartial, and accountable.

While highlighting the leadership role of the Chief Justice in implementing judicial reforms, he stressed that genuine improvement is only possible through the coordinated cooperation of both judges and court staff.
