BIRATNAGAR: Shram Sanskriti Party Chairperson and Member of Parliament Harka Raj Rai Sampang has criticized the government’s lack of accountability, stating it has reduced parliament to an ineffective talking shop comparable to social media.
Speaking at a party event in Biratnagar, Sampang accused the Prime Minister of showing indifference toward legislative duties, skipping critical border issue discussions, and ignoring parliamentary concerns regarding rising inflation, commercial distress, and high taxes.
He argued that the ruling party is wasting time on superficial changes—such as renaming the infrastructure ministry or altering public bus colors—rather than reforming the cumbersome legal frameworks that directly affect citizens.
Emphasizing his party’s core philosophy of labor culture, Sampang stressed that national prosperity can only be achieved by reducing heavy reliance on foreign debt, curbing non-productive political commentary, and fostering abundant agricultural and industrial production.
