KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane on Tuesday said his party carries a major responsibility following strong public support, urging newly elected lawmakers to uphold voters’ trust and work toward safeguarding the country.
Addressing a two-day orientation for RSP’s newly elected members of parliament at a hotel in Gwarko after 1 PM, Lamichhane said the mandate given by voters reflects hope for change and accountability.
He stressed that the party must act responsibly in parliament and deliver on public expectations, stating that the responsibility of protecting the nation now rests significantly on the shoulders of the RSP.
