Rajiv Khatri secures landmark victory in Bhaktapur-2

BHAKTAPUR: Rajiv Khatri, the candidate from the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has won the House of Representatives election from Bhaktapur Constituency Number 2.

Khatri secured 42,334 votes, defeating his nearest rivals by a significant margin. According to Bhim B.C., information officer at the District Election Office in Bhaktapur, Mahesh Basnet of the CPN (UML) received 10,996 votes, while Kabir Rana of the Nepali Congress obtained 8,401 votes.

In Bhaktapur-2, a total of 72,761 votes were cast during the polling held on Thursday, out of 98,356 registered voters in the constituency.
