KATHMANDU: The central secretariat meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has commenced at the party’s central office in Ghantighar, Bansthali.

According to party spokesperson Manish Jha, the meeting was convened to discuss a range of contemporary political and organizational issues.

The agenda includes deliberations on the framework for selecting candidates for the 2027 local level elections, procedures related to the party’s 2026 general convention, and proposed amendments to the parliamentary party statute, among other internal matters.

The meeting is taking place as the party continues efforts to strengthen its organizational structure and prepare for upcoming electoral and institutional processes.
