Toshima Karki wins Lalitpur-3 with 43,906 votes

LALITPUR: Toshima Karki from Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Lalitpur Constituency No. 3 after securing 43,906 votes, retaining the seat she had also won in the November 20, 2022 election.

Jitendra Kumar Shrestha of the Nepali Congress finished second with 9,045 votes. Raj Kaji Maharjan of the Nepali Communist Party placed third with 6,022 votes, while Sandan Thapa Magar of CPN (UML) secured 3,297 votes.

Karki previously served as Minister of State for Health and Population in the government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal, further strengthening her political profile in the constituency.
