KATHMANDU: Vote counting for the House of Representatives elections is ongoing across the country. According to the latest updates, the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has secured victories for 40 candidates and holds a lead in 80 constituencies.
The Nepali Congress has won six seats, while the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) and CPN (UML) each have two winners. An independent candidate, Mahabir Pun from Myagdi, has also won.
Current counting shows 10 Congress candidates, nine CPN (UML) candidates, and seven NCP candidates leading. The Shram Sanskriti Party has four candidates in the lead, and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party maintains a lead in one constituency.
